By the way, I started putting up my impressions of Laurent Le Guernec's fragrance up. Haven't formulated a review of it yet, as my impressions are still changing.

Thank you Victoria! My blog is quite silly but it would make me happy if you enjoy reading it; your blog is marvelous. I think I should be able to get samples of everything, and a couple will be easy to test regularly.

Dear Ms. Ferval,
Thank you so much for the recommendations. I am again overwhelmed and a little embarrassed at the thought of anyone at IFF reading my reactions to various perfumes and scents. Nontheless I am delighted and look forward to trying all of these scents. They sound wonderful.

I have actually tried Fracas once and found it beautiful. I will retest it after I go through all the others.

And the idea of an almond-scented glue is perfect. I'll bet they don't have that in the U.S. in order to prevent children from finding glue more appealing than they already do. I was one of those children who ate glue. I don't know why though.

Regarding the prize, Laurent Le Guernec's creation looks incredible! It sounds like an elegant afternoon tea outside on the patio among blooming gardenias. You could make lovely stories out of that. I can't wait.

Thank you!

ps. I should qualify that Chanel Chance is boring on _me_. I probably have not learned to appreciate aldehydes yet either (am as yet unable to identify them :D), so the sparkling nature of many Chanels escapes me.

What an enjoyable post to read! Congratulations, Kuri. I did not realize that Materialeclare was your blog, but I am off to put in my bloglines and wait for the review of the scent. I hope that you can find samples of the fragrances Ms. Ferval recommended, because I think that given what you've described about your tastes you might definitely enjoy them. I am actually wearing Armani Code right now.
