Hyperbolic Paraboloids

You cannot own a car in Japan unless you have a space to park. On-street parking will not be an option.
So, no matter how small the land is, if you are building a house (and you are going to have a car for sure), you will need to create a space for the car.
Akira Yoneda of Architecton came up with a stylish solution to squeeze in a parking space into a narrow footprint. This house called ‘HP’ was built in 2004.
