This home deigned for a well known ‘Kendo’ family in Shizuoka, Japan consists of two buildings, the residence and a ‘dojo’, divided by a mound of earth in between. The slightly taller building on the east side (left on the above photo) serves as the family’s residence, and the one on the west is where Kendo is taught.
