House in Yoyogi-Uehara

Nissyo Kogyo, a small but excellent “komuten” in Tokyo, has recently teamed up with Nagisa Kidosaki, an architect based in Yokohama City. I like the spartan look of the house, both in and out, which reminds me of a stripped-down, no-frills design of racing boats and cars. This was designed by a very friendly and cheerful woman, and I wonder what went through her mind when designing the house.
