Sculptor Isamu Noguchi often had mentioned that marriage and having children are not options for sculptors. I adored his idea of freedom and tried to join the ‘Order’ when I was young. I lost my path 10 years ago and am now a father of two kids. I don’t regret my choice but cannot agree more with Noguchi today.

この路はいつか来た路… と、感じることがたまにあるが、見知らぬ土地でおきる既視感（déjà vu）というのは、旅を思い出深いものにしてくれる。特徴のないただの一本道が、様々な感情や感覚を呼び起すというのも不思議な感じがする。路というのは、人間固有のものではなく、むしろどちらかと言えば動物的な感じがしないだろうか。この地表に描かれた何の変哲もない線に、妙に生々しい匂いと触覚を感じるのは、人間に僅かに残された野性のなせる技なのかもしれない。真夏の午後の土埃と草いきれ、運動靴の底の、じゃりっ、じゃりっという、足の向きが正確に定まらない少し不安な感覚…

As corny as it sounds, I love what Laird Hamilton says in this film. I admire and envy people who live a life like his.
