Two new books from Gestalten

I just browsed through two new books on architecture published by the German publisher Gestalten. Both books are packed with fascinating visuals, and regular visitors to this blog could sure enjoy both of these books. The fact that there are only few architectures from Japan in these books is quite refreshing and interesting.

詳しい内容は後ほど御報告するが、最近ゲシュタルテンから出版された建築本を二冊御紹介。今回はどちらも、日本の建築がほとんど登場しない点でも興味深い。それぞれの本のテーマから察するに、日本の建築家にとっては得意な分野ではないのかもしれない。
